Giffen Group is a specialist contractor, focused primarily in the rail industry. It is a family run business established for over 100 years.

In 2010, Giffen Group contacted Propeller to discuss the design and production of some new print materials. It quickly became apparent that their existing resources were limited and that their incumbent agency had reached the limit of their capability. An overview of their marketing requirements revealed that they needed a new online presence for their switchgear business, a complete overhaul of their main group website, and a set of new presentation and marketing materials, developing their existing branding.

Experience:

Working closely with the Giffen Team, Propeller developed a clear picture of their business objectives and marketplace, allowing us to work in a more consultative way, offering advise and recommendations to ensure that best possible outcome.  Regular meetings were held to manage the progress and development of projects. We have collaborated with specialists within the Giffen Group to devise the best solutions for their QA and structured feedback requirements, programming solutions which allow these functions to be managed more efficiently. This provides measurable time saving and improves compliance with their procedures. These are now being rolled out across their business.

Work:

We have established a mutually valuable relationship with Giffen Group, through which Propeller works consultatively with the Group's main board, and also with specific management teams tasked with marketing, business improvement and internal communications. We have undertaken a range of projects including websites, email marketing campaigns, brochure design, and promotional materials.
