Requirements:
Secure Park Heathrow provides a service for on site car parking at major airports. Many of us use the online booking facilities of these types of enterprises to compare costs and services provided.
The existing web site was very limited in the way that it operated. It acted as a landing page to divert internet enquiries into phone calls to the sales office. It was clear from our market research that very significant numbers of enquiries were being lost and that an integrated sales and administration site would be the most suitable solution. In this way, not only could we maximise the value of sales revenue, but also reduce the cost of administration by building in a ‘custom administration module’.
Solution:
Through a process of collaborative meetings we produced a number of story boards detailing the key functions of the site and the important messages to convey. Secure Park compare very favourably on price against their competitors.
We therefore elected to have a totally transparent pricing model and challenged users to find a better quote for a comparable service. We designed the website to be flexible in content to accommodate for expansion such as more airport locations and more product options.
We have developed a new booking system using a calendar function, to allow visitors to be able to check availability and book car parking online, specifying date ranges.
We developed a comprehensive Content Management System to allow online reporting of bookings, and summarised resource requirements. Most importantly the average daily revenue from the site exceeds £1,000, increasing business by 26% and reducing cost by 11%.
