Cofely

Client:
Cofely

Requirements:

Cofely are a medium sized enterprise with a turnover of £300 Million and employ around 2,700 staff in 23 regional centres. They have focused on sustainable building solutions and wanted to produce a detailed project case study of a major contract they completed for the Department for Children, Schools and Families. The purpose of this was to communicate the design and construction process to all of the regional centres and their extensive client base.

The building itself has a grade 2 star listing and the innovative methods of construction incorporated MMC and off site manufacture to achieve the substantial refurbishment while the building remained in occupation.

The use of renewable energy sources as well as upgrades to the existing services reduced the building carbon footprint by 27 tonnes of CO2 per year.

Solution:

We instigated a series of workshops in order to identify the message that the client wished to get across to the target audience and the best way of communicating the facts. The exceptionally high level of visual impact of the works needed to be captured and we arranged for our approved photographers to pitch for the project and co-ordinated this process.

Copywriting was provided in house and the project was managed by one of our account directors. The finished product, which was produced as a 16 page brochure, was so successful that the client secured opportunities on four similar schemes as a consequence of the mail out. Additionally we ensured that all of the regional centres received electronic copies of the work, distributed through the Company e-mail system, in order to raise awareness of the work and the exceptional quality of the finished project.
