Audience and Project Management
Each Club has an annual intake of approx 20 Scholars. The packs (and the collateral that it contains) were designed in such a way as to engage a young man aspiring to be a Premier League footballer. The information within each document had to be clearly laid out and allow each user to keep track of their own progress with continual assessment from the Tutors.
We pro-actively managed the entire contract and supplied weekly reports to the client. We managed the deliverables in line with pre-agreed deadlines and kept projects at or below the pre-agreed budget. Finally, print was managed by us to achieve maximum value-for-money through bulk purchasing and mini competitions between our approved print suppliers.
Task
To design, produce and deliver ‘new learner packs’ to the Scholars and Tutors in each of the Premier League clubs. The Student packs constituted everything a club scholar or new learner would require to undertake a 2 year BTEC or NVQ qualification at the club. It also incorporated the latest Premier League brand guidelines into all projects.
Production
We took responsibility for the design, photography, print management (either by lithographic or digital) production and delivery of each batch of collateral. Clear and immovable deadlines were in place such as the opening game of the season. Many items had to be in place for this time. Each Scholar pack contained many items including:
