The Client:
The client is a family-run regional contractor specialising in high-end new build speculative housing development. They employ a local SME supply chain.
They approached Propeller Studios because of our excellent track record with Frameworks. We worked closely with the clients Projects to understand their USPs and identify synergies and transferable skills within their current portfolio which could be applied to the social housing sector. We focused on quality, systems, values and their status as a local SME business.
Why the client approached us:
The client is a very small, family run, speculative developer of high-quality homes with no experience of affordable housing and so very limited evidence relevant to the sector. They are purely a contracting business with no direct labour. They were keen to get into the affordable sector and had bid for several frameworks without success.
Outcome of contract:

Not only were they successful on the Lot they went for but they scored top marks to come first on the Lot.
Later that year they approached us for support on a Housing Association Framework for which we completed 3 questions totalling 20 sides. They were also successful on this tender.
