We recently undertook the management of a PQQ for a regionally based contractor – the framework they were applying for had a value of £15m, over an estimated four year appointment. For our Client, it was a project that would dramatically increase their turnover, so they needed to produce a document that not only looked professional and high-quality in its design, but also fulfilled the criteria set out within the framework.
Propeller initially engaged with our Client’s internal bid writing team, to establish the strengths of the company, and identify any areas of improvement. We discussed their long term objectives, and how Propeller could facilitate achieving those.
Our Client determined that the best course of action would be to appoint Propeller in a consulting capacity, through facilitation workshops, bid answering, and helping them to structure their responses. Propeller’s unique and thorough approach to consulting allowed our Client to gain an insight into our own procedure of bid responding.
We implemented our skeleton response structure for the more complex responses- a time-intensive process of painstakingly detailed checklists, but one that ultimately produces the desired result.
Our Client benefited from our attention and commitment to detail, and were delighted to be successful at the pre-qualification stage. They had retained our services for the tender submission, and were successful.
